I know I'm biased because I'm his agent, but Ted Washington is probably the best nose tackle in the history of football. He'll play hard every down. This is probably his last contract, but I said that two contracts ago. Cleveland and Ted are a good fit for each other.

It was a good visit and a good fit. But there's some other opportunities, too. There's four situations that are active.

They've been a good team before and they have good players still. The questions are always money and will they play?

This could be football Armageddon for teams having to release quality veterans.

When you're still playing, you're lifting, you're conditioning and you're still young. You can stunt the onset of some of these disabilities. But as time goes on, particularly for African-American players, things like diabetes become more pronounced. Obesity is an issue for people in general ... and the NFL can take the forefront on this by stressing good nutrition.

He wants to get something done by the end of the weekend. He'd like to have something done yesterday, but Sam understands the business and realizes how things work.
